Countdown to the GFY Grand Finale – To the New Stage Set for the final day, March 31!
From March 16, we'll revisit past performances! Collaborations with Yokohama City and the Yokohama DeNA BayStars are also in the works!
As GUNDAM FACTORY YOKOHAMA approaches its closure on Sunday, March 31, 2024, we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude for your support over the years and announce a series of events to honor this journey.
Since its opening in December 2020, GUNDAM FACTORY YOKOHAMA (GFY) has welcomed over 1.5 million visitors (as of February 2024).
On its last day, March 31, the standard performances will end at 4:00 PM, followed by the 'GUNDAM FACTORY YOKOHAMA GRAND FINALE – To the New Stage' starting at 7:00 PM. The event will feature a speech by Yoshiyuki Tomino, the director of "Mobile Suit Gundam," a performance of the last activation experiment in a scenario that continues the story from the opening event, and an original drone art show with about 1000 drones, along with fireworks. It promises to be a fitting GFY finale.
Tickets for this event, including the Gunpla "1/144 RX-78F00 Gundam Grand Finale Ver." set, will be available through lottery starting from 1:00 PM on March 5 via a special website. Don't miss this last opportunity to see the life-sized Moving Gundam in action.
Since its opening, GFY has presented the Moving Gundam with various musical themes, story settings, new poses, and movements. From March 16 to March 31, we will be showing these past performances. Please check the official website for the detailed schedule.
